Polarised LED light methacrylate podoscope for footprint analysis

The Podoscope with polarised LED light is an instrument that allows the evaluation of the footprint thanks to the distribution of charge on the feet.

It consists of an ABS perimeter base with LED system and a transparent supporting structure made of methacrylate, a highly resistant material with an excellent  light conduction capacity, where the patient goes barefoot and stays for a few minutes.

On a lower level, a mirror reflects images of the soles of the feet, making it possible to detect variations in chromatic intensity on the points of lowest and highest plantar charge of the foot to better assess the distribution of charge.

Its remarkable brightness highlights the areas of greatest pressure on the foot. Sharp, high definition images are obtained, even in brightly lit environment.

Thanks to its low weight and compact size, the podoscope can be easily moved and is easy to transport.

The step is only 22 cm high, which allows easy access for children and mobility impaired patients.

Designed to last a long time thanks to the choice of the best components and constant quality control in the production phase and in the final tests of correct functioning.

Its robust methacrylate structure is designed to support loads of up to 135 kg.

The electrical parts essentially consist of a separable mains cable with plug and connector plug, and a LED strip lighting, with a life of 25,000 hours.
