Hypoallergenic adhesive elastic bandage Tensoplast Sport with protective film.

Ideal for plantar fasciitis and ankle injuries, it is used in the prevention, rehabilitation and functional treatment of trauma to muscle-tendon and joint units. Indispensable in the creation of tie-down anchors, support bandages, offloading and stabilisation in the treatment of muscular, tendinous and articular pathologies (contusions, sprains and dislocations; chronic tendinopathies, minor and chronic capsular ligament lesions).

It provides safe, stable and long-lasting support and compression without causing discomfort.

Tensoplast Sport is a bandage with a textile support that can be extended in length and has a variable elasticity memory, i.e. it modulates its elastic return as the traction force exerted on the bandage changes during application. Below about 50 i extension, the bandage has the characteristics of a normal elastic bandage, recovering its entire original length. When the extension exceeds 50% (maximum tension) the bandage loses its tensile-elastic properties and becomes a rigid structure resistant to further stress.

The adhesive mass that holds the bandage in place is hypoallergenic and, thanks to the longitudinal striped coating, limits the phenomena of skin maceration. The cotton support, which has an elasticity of more than 50%, adapts perfectly to the anatomical contoursthanks to its great conformability.
