Chemical steriliser with disintegrating enzymes that disinfects, cleanses and sterilises instruments in a single operation.
Also suitable for ultrasound devices and cleansing.
With virucidal (HIV, HBV, HCV, Adeno and Polio Virus) bactericidal, fungicidal and sporicidal action.
The powder releases peracetic acid and active oxygen, while the enzymes, which dissolve in water, disintegrate and remove any organic protein, lipid and glucose residues from the instruments.
The granules dissolve slowly to allow the gradual release of the active ingredient. For this reason, it is important to use trays with a grid, capable of holding the irons in suspension, to avoid direct contact with the granules deposited at the bottom of the tray. Sterysept Detergo contains special corrosion inhibitors that give the product a high degree of compatibility with all the most commonly used materials, however, it is always advisable to minimise the occasions of contact between the materials and the granules still undissolved.
USAGE
Preparation of the sterilising solution (different from the disinfectant solution). 2% DILUTION.
1 kg of product yields 50 l of STERILISING SOLUTION.
Prepare the required volume of water preferably at 35 °C (also tap water)
Add 20 g of powder per 1 l of water
Stir the liquid for a few minutes (part of the product will remain undissolved at the bottom of the tray, keeping the concentration of active ingredient in the solution constant)
Immerse the instruments for 10 minutes.
Contact time: 10 minutes for cold chemical sterilisation (5 minutes for decontamination and 1% disinfection).
The used solution can be safely disposed of down the drain. In fact, the liquid immediately degrades into acetic acid, water and oxygen, agents that are not harmful and do not pollute the environment, when in contact with waste water.
After immersion, rinse with sterile water and thoroughly dry instruments and joints.
The solution should be replaced every 24 hours.
CAUTION
Do not exceed the doses and times indicated.
Maximum contact time: 10 minutes.
