Multi-parameter chemical sterilisation indicators are devices that change colour when exposed to heat and pressure at appropriate times.

They are optimal for controlling steam sterilisation, interacting with the cycle parameters (temperature, time, steam quality) and certifying their correct stability.

For any type of autoclave.

Compliant with EN ISO 11140-1 Class 5.

Operating conditions: 121°C - 134°C.

Usage:

Chemical indicators must be placed inside the sterilisation chamber before starting the cycle, even if a load is present, bagged or not.

They can be free-standing and placed on the trays, or they can be placed inside the sterilisation bags together with the materials to be sterilised.

Hints

Periodicity: in order to have a constant check on the validity of the autoclave, it is recommended to use it on all cycles, or at least once a day.

The indicators change colour when the optimal sterilisation conditions are reached 121°C - 134 °C.

If the test fails, repeat the test and if the response is still negative, call an authorised technician.
